20,000 t/a Lithium Titanate Production Line Construction Project
Completion of Environmental Protection Facilities and Commissioning Announcement

Gangfeng New Materials Co., Ltd. plans to build a 20,000 t/a lithium titanate production line project in Dawao Village, Gaocang Village Committee, Luomian Town, Fumin County. In February 2019, the company entrusted Yunnan Baoxing Environmental Technology Consulting Co., Ltd. to prepare the Environmental Impact Report for the 20,000 t/a Lithium Titanate Production Line Construction Project (hereinafter referred to as the “Report”). On August 26 of the same year, the project obtained the Reply of Kunming Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment on the Environmental Impact Report for the 20,000 t/a Lithium Titanate Production Line Construction Project (Document No. Kunshenghuanfu [2019] 16).

The project commenced construction in May 2023. In view of changes in the new energy market, the project is being implemented in phases. At present, only four processes have been constructed: alkali adjustment, mixing, sintering, and grinding. The product obtained is uncoated battery-grade lithium titanate, with a capacity of 5,000 tons.

Currently, the corresponding main works and supporting environmental protection facilities have been completed. In accordance with the Regulations on the Administration of Environmental Protection for Construction Projects and the Interim Measures for the Acceptance of Environmental Protection Facilities for Completed Construction Projects, the completion date and commissioning period of the project are hereby announced.
